Huawei Nova 15 Series Launch Date and Design Officially Confirmed

 Huawei has officially confirmed the China launch date for the Nova 15 series, which includes the Nova 15, Nova 15 Pro, and Nova 15 Ultra. The company also unveiled the design and color options for the upcoming phones, with the series set to be revealed in China on December 22.

Ahead of its debut next week, Huawei showcased four color options for the new lineup, giving users more choices to match their style: Green, Purple, Zero-Degree White, and Fantasy Black. The Green and Purple models stand out with a sleek back design featuring the HUAWEI Nova logo elegantly framed in a square. Which color would you choose?

Rumored Specifications

The standard Nova 15 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display and a Kirin 8-series processor. Its rear camera setup may include a 50MP main sensor, a periscope telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide lens, complemented by a single 50MP front camera. The device is rumored to house a battery of over 6,000mAh and supports two-way BeiDou Satellite SMS.

The Nova 15 Pro could come with a slightly larger 6.84-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display and the same Kirin 8-series chip. Its rear cameras are expected to include a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, an ultra-wide lens, and a multispectral sensor. On the front, a dual 50MP + 8MP camera setup is likely. Additional features may include two-way BeiDou Satellite SMS, Tiantong calling, Wi-Fi 7, a second-generation Kunlun Screen, and a battery exceeding 6,000mAh.

Topping the series, the Nova 15 Ultra is rumored to sport a larger enhanced OLED display (size TBD) and a more powerful Kirin 9-series processor. Its rear cameras may include a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, an ultra-wide lens, and an advanced multispectral sensor, paired with a dual 50MP + 8MP front camera. The Ultra model is expected to feature a 6,500mAh battery and premium additions such as variable aperture (f/1.4 to f/4.0), a metal frame, IP68/69 water and dust resistance, and two-way BeiDou satellite messaging.
