Redmi Rings in the New Year With Bold New Colors for the Note 15 Pro Series

Redmi is starting the New Year with a splash of color. Xiaomi’s popular sub-brand has officially announced that the Redmi Note 15 Pro series will debut two fresh color options right on New Year’s Day, giving fans a stylish reason to ring in the year with a new device.

According to the announcement, the new variants will go on sale on January 1 at 10:00 AM, arriving in Mocha Brown and Cherry Red. These shades add a premium and expressive touch to the lineup, though there’s a catch as both colors are currently exclusive to the Chinese market. Users running Xiaomi HyperOS in China will be the first to enjoy these refreshed looks.

The addition of Mocha Brown and Cherry Red brings more than just visual flair. These finishes give the Redmi Note 15 Pro series a more refined and mature appearance while maintaining the phone’s slim and modern design language. For users who value personal expression, the new colors offer a subtle but meaningful upgrade.

However, global fans may want to keep expectations in check. Xiaomi has a history of limiting certain colorways to specific regions, and for now, there’s no confirmation that these new finishes will launch outside China. Despite the regional exclusivity, the hardware underneath remains one of the strongest points of the lineup.

The standard Redmi Note 15 is powered by a third-generation Snapdragon 6 chipset and houses a 5,800mAh battery inside a sleek 7.35mm body. This combination makes it a solid option for users looking for efficiency, endurance, and a slim form factor at an affordable price.

Stepping up, the Redmi Note 15 Pro features a 6.83-inch 1.5K flat OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3,200 nits. It is driven by the Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset and backed by a massive 7,000mAh battery, making it ideal for power users. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ introduces the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor and boasts a triple-camera system with a 50MP main sensor, 50MP telephoto lens, and 8MP ultra-wide camera.

Pricing remains highly competitive in China, with the Redmi Note 15 starting at around $139 (999 CNY), the Note 15 Pro at approximately $195 (1,399 CNY), and the Note 15 Pro+ at about $278 (1,999 CNY). While the specifications and pricing are undeniably attractive, the China-only availability of the new Mocha Brown and Cherry Red colors leaves international availability uncertain for now, only time will tell if Xiaomi plans to bring these stylish finishes to global markets.
