Samsung Galaxy A07 5G Certified, Official Launch is Near

Samsung is preparing to launch the new Galaxy A07 5G smartphone. Recently, the device received an additional certification from the GCF (Global Certification Forum), marking an important milestone ahead of its release.

The Galaxy A07 5G smartphone has been listed on the GCF certification under the model number SM-A076B/DS. This variant supports 5G networks and dual SIM cards, as noted by TheTeckOutlook.

According to the certification, this device is compatible with 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks, making it suitable for global use. The certification was issued on November 24, 2025.

This device will utilize the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, functioning at a frequency of 2.4 GHz. It is reported to include the ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, in addition to 4GB of RAM, and it will run on Android 16.

Comparison Between Samsung Galaxy A07 and Samsung Galaxy A06 

Both the Samsung Galaxy A07 and Samsung Galaxy A06 use a 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD panel, but the A07’s display supports a 90 Hz refresh rate, making animations and scrolling look smoother than the A06’s standard refresh display. This upgrade is especially noticeable during everyday use and casual gaming. Additionally, the A07 is slightly slimmer and lighter, giving it a more modern feel without straying from the same screen size and resolution. 

Performance & Hardware

Under the hood, leaks and comparisons suggest the Galaxy A07 uses a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, which is a generational improvement over the Helio G85 used in the Galaxy A06. The G99 offers stronger overall performance for multitasking and everyday apps, alongside newer architectures that should handle basic games and heavier workloads better. Memory and storage options on the A07 also go higher up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, compared with the A06’s more modest top configurations.

Cameras

Both phones stick with dual rear cameras (50 MP main + 2 MP depth) and an 8 MP selfie camera, which means core imaging specs are similar on paper. However, some leaks hint that the A07 might benefit from better camera tuning and updated image processing thanks to its newer platform potentially delivering slightly better photos, especially in varied lighting. The front camera in rumored 5G A07 variants may even bump up resolution in future models, but that isn’t confirmed yet.

Battery & Charging
Battery capacity remains a shared strength: both devices reportedly feature ~5000 mAh batteries with ~25 W fast charging, giving them solid all-day endurance. There’s no major jump in battery specs here, but the efficiency improvements with the A07’s newer chipset may translate to longer real-world runtimes.
