High-End Android Phones Powered with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. AT&T Galaxy S6 edge Plus July 2017 Security Updates Rolling Out

Following AT&T's released of the July 2017 security updates  on Galaxy S6, S6 edge , and S6 active  last week.  This time, AT&T's is pushing the same treatment for the Galaxy S6 plus (SM-G928A). According to AT&T, a new update will be hitting the Galaxy S6 edge+ that will bump up its recent Android 7.0 Nougat OS to version G928AUCS4EQG1 from previous release version G928AUCS4EQF1. A week earlier, T-Mobile has released an update on  Galaxy S6 and S6 edge that includes the July security updates .  This time, another round of updates will be hitting on the said devices.  This update will now bring various system improvements, according to T-Mobile's announcement. Verizon Galaxy S6 edge+ Receives an Update to Improved Voice over Wi-Ficalls

If you owns a Verizon galaxy S6 edge+ and have had experienced unwanted dropped on Voice over Wi-Fi calls, then you must update your device now. According to big red, a new update is coming to all Galaxy S6 edge+ users beginning July 27, 2017. This update includes several improvements and fixes, including  to minimize the dropped problem on Voice over Wi-Fi calls, fixes issue that was preventing you from adding the Google search app while the device is in Easy Mode, and the notification for no app space when adding an app icon or widget to the Home screen. Following the rolling out of the July 2017 Android security updates on AT&T's Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge few days earlier. This time around, its time for the AT&T Galaxy S6 active (SM-G890A) users to receive a very similar treatment. AT&T Galaxy S6 and S6 edge Receiving July 2017 Security Updates

Another Over-The-Air OTA update has now being pushed on AT&T Galaxy S6 and S6 edge.  AT&T Galaxy S6 and S6 edge users will receives an about 22MB software update beginning July 25, 2017, according to AT&T. These updates were to bring another doze of the Android device security updates of which basically means that it has the July 2017 Android security patches. The Galaxy S6 will move its Android 7.0 Nougat OS to version G920AUCS6EQG1. While the Galaxy S6 edge on the other hand, will also bump up to version G925AUCS6EQG1. T-Mobile Galaxy S6 edge+ Got an Update with Various System Improvements

Way back in May, T-Mobile Galaxy S6 edge+ has gotten its Android 7.0 Nougat upgrade .  Last month, the device receives some fixes to the intermittent call failure for select users. Now another round of Nougat update dubbed as build number G928TUVS4EQG1, will be hitting the Galaxy S6 edge+ users starting on June 201, 2017. The update includes some various system improvements, according to T-Mobile. But while sneaking around the build details, the update also contain the July 1, 2017 security update. T-Mobile Galaxy S6 and S6 edge Receives July 2017 Security Updates

Earlier in June, T-Mobile has rolled the Android 7.0 Nougat updates on Galaxy S6 and S6 edge .  This time around a new update is being pushed of which has the monthly Android security maintenance updates. A new software update for Galaxy S6 (SM-G920T) dubbed as build number G920TUVS5FQG1 and for the Galaxy S6 edge  (SM-G925T) with build number G925TUVS5FQG1 will be hitting on both devices this week. These releases contain the monthly security update to which basically bumps up the said devices Android security patch level to July 1, 2017.
