The Samsung Galaxy S5 had been receiving the security patch updates in a monthly basis. This time around will cover the Galaxy S5  (SM-G900F) intentional version updates because some folks have had been asking "why are the're too many updates that brings nothing any changes at all". While some were also expecting that the new updates brings the Android 7.0 Nougat since it has been there around the corner. Sprint is also rolling out the September security patch for their Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge line-up. AT&T Galaxy S6 OTA Update G890AUCU5CPI2, Improved Network Density, Messaging, and September Security Patch

AT&T Galaxy S6 Active (SM-G890A) has just receive an OTA update that bumped up its Android 6.0.1  Marshmallow OS to build version G890AUCU5CPI2 from G890AUCU4CPH3. The update hasn't brought out any new features but it addressed several improvements particularly about the device performance in areas with lower network density and enhancements to Messaging services. The US Unlock Galaxy S6 is getting the new OTA update that brings its Android Marshmallow OS to build version G920TUES5DPI2 from G920TUES4DPH2. The update basically brings the new Android Security Patch to which now covers the month of September fixes.
