The Samsung Galaxy S5 had been receiving the security patch updates in a monthly basis. This time around will cover the Galaxy S5  (SM-G900F) intentional version updates because some folks have had been asking "why are the're too many updates that brings nothing any changes at all". While some were also expecting that the new updates brings the Android 7.0 Nougat since it has been there around the corner. AT&T Galaxy S6 Active (SM-G890A) has just receive an OTA update that bumped up its Android 6.0.1  Marshmallow OS to build version G890AUCU5CPI2 from G890AUCU4CPH3. The update hasn't brought out any new features but it addressed several improvements particularly about the device performance in areas with lower network density and enhancements to Messaging services.
