Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. Yet another Japanese mobile phone manufacturer Sony was releasing the new flagship called Sony Xperia C. In-fact the source code is now live for after-market developers out there. The Sony Xperia C device was announced earlier this year and now available in China and soon coming to some countries in Asia. The Sony Xperia C will be running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and this device is built with Dual SIM feature. The display of Sony Xperia C is packed with a 5-inch capacitive touch screen and equipped with 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6589 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.
