I did the update on SM-G900I

    Result:
Works but now I have hangs and overall performance is very slow.
    - Hanging Keyboard
    - battery drains really fast.
    - Changing between Apps is a pain.
    - step counter seems to deliver wrong/less step count.

  3. In the US we just got an Update today. Looks like version 4.4.2 not 5.0 or higher. The wait continues.

  4. Got the update, it sucks the power - probably only getting half the battery life I got before. In car mode the "hi Galaxy" screen rarely dims, so this sucks up even more power. I really hate the removal of "silent mode" from this version. I can't fathom how any company would remove such a basic phone feature. The sound now has a large increase in volume when you turn it up, far louder than before. Other than that, not huge differences between lollipop and kitkat. Probably not worth the upgrade if you want the extended battery life
