Apple's two failed iPhones in 2025

The interest in the iPhone 17 series is high, particularly for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max models, which are outselling their predecessors. The iPhone Air has a different tale to tell; sales haven't been great, with reports showing low demand and major production cuts.  In contrast to the heavily publicized flop of the iPhone Air, there hasn't been much info on how the iPhone 16e is doing in sales. Early reports suggested it was doing pretty well, but it seems that wasn't up to Apple's standards.  Sales of the iPhone 16e and iPhone Air aren't meeting Apple's expectations, as per info from leaker Fixed Focus Digital (source in Chinese). While no exact figures were shared, the leaker suggests that Apple's effort to launch a popular, budget-friendly iPhone hasn't succeeded. AT&T Galaxy S6 Gets New Lollipop Update to version G920AUCU2AOF3, But Isn't the 5.1.1 Update Yet

AT&T has  sends out the OTA update on Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-G920A) and the Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925A).  The update says that it will bump up the device OS build version to G920AUCU2AOF3 from the previous G920AUCU2AOE2.  But the update is not the awaited Lollipop 5.1.1 yet but still remain in Android 5.0.2 version.  Though it is not the anticipated 5.1.1 update like we have seen on T-Mobile and Sprint but it brings some new enhancements on Find My Mobile and Reactivation Lock features.  The initial changelog did not mention any further technical details but along with it might be some bug fixes, security protection improvements, and further enhancement to performance.

Here are the summarized technical details about the update addressed by Samsung and AT&T:
Effective July 9, 2015, AT&T will release a sofware update for the Samsung Galaxy S 6  (G920A). This update will be made available to customers via Firmware Over The Air (FOTA). A Wi-Fi connection is required for the update.

  • Find My Mobile and Reactivation Lock enhancements
  • Android OS security enhancements
  • Android version: 5.0.2
  • Baseband version: G920AUCU2AOF3
  • Kernel version: 3.10.61-4823236
  • Build number: LRX22G.G920AUCU2AOF3


The update files size is around 146MB,and it is now live via Over-The-Air OTA update. You can now manually check the update by hitting your device Settings>About device>Software update>Check for update. Just make sure phone hasn't been rooted nor modified so you can get the update without any hiccups. Noting that accepting  a OTA updates on a rooted device will breaks its root and if you are not lucky enough it may also results into undesirable soft-bricks.

We've all been anticipating the release of the stable version of Samsung's One UI 8 beta program, which is based on Android 16.
