Most of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Models Expected To Be Powered by Exynos 2600

  The speculation has been widespread. Some suggest that the Exynos 2600 application processor (AP), produced by Samsung Foundry using its 2nm GAA technology, will be the driving force behind the majority of the Samsung Galaxy S26 models, including the Galaxy S26 Ultra in certain regions. Previously, Samsung Foundry encountered challenges with the yield of its 3nm production, resulting in a shortage of Exynos 2500 APs for the Galaxy S25 series. The standard Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra models are all equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor. This marks a shift from previous models, such as the Galaxy S24 series, which used both Snapdragon and Samsung's own Exynos chipsets, depending on the region.  While during Qualcomm's recent earnings call following the release of its fiscal Q4 earnings, the company said that it expected its new Snapdragon chip to be found in 75 percent of the Galaxy S26 handsets. Verizon Galaxy S6 & S6 Edge gets VRU2AOF1 OTA update, bringing Reactivation lock and Roaming support

Verizon has recently released another Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update on Galaxy S6 (SM-G920V) and Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G920V). The firmware build version is dubbed with G920VVRU2AOF1 on Galaxy S6, while the Galaxy S6 Edge gets the build G925VVRU2AOF1. The update which will now supports the Reactivation Lock and the Roaming support for those who travels in Puerto Rico.

Here goes the technical details found on Galaxy S6:

  • Reactivation Lock - Security improvements to Samsung’s Reactivation Lock. (protection for lost or stolen devices)
  • Traveling Abroad - Now supports roaming to wireless service in Puerto Rico.
Verizon may send out the update in stages, and not everyone might get the update at the same time. So better check the update, by hitting your Galaxy S6 Settings>>About device>>Software update>>Check for update.
