If you aren't familiar with Stagefright, this is one of the biggest smartphone security flaws. This affects almost all smartphones and tablets that have had downloaded an infected application or those who visited a website that's being rigged to bug your Android phone.
Here are the technical details:
Android version: 5.1.1
Baseband version: G920PVPU2BOGA
Kernel version: 3.10.61
Build number: LMY47X.G920PVPU2BOGA
Samsung Galaxy S 6 Software Update
Effective Date: 08/05/15 (all dates are subject to change)
Details:
A software update to G920PVPU2BOGA is available for the Samsung Galaxy S 6 beginning, 08/05/15

Google Security Patch (Stagefright)
The G920PVPU2BOGA update weighs at around 53MB in file size. It is a minor OTA update compared to the previous ones, but everyone must take the update to get rid of the Stagefright bug. Sprint is sending the G920PVPU2BOGA update out in waves from today August 5th and might only end until all devices receive the update that usually run at the span of two weeks.
So if you don't get the notification yet, you may just keep on checking by going into the phone's Settings>About device>Check for an update. The firmware server refreshes once in every hour, so just continue doing it until it says that the update is available for download.
Also, keep in mind that you cannot get the update if you have rooted or have a modified system running on your device. Your device must have to be still run with official firmware in the system.
