Most of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Models Expected To Be Powered by Exynos 2600

  The speculation has been widespread. Some suggest that the Exynos 2600 application processor (AP), produced by Samsung Foundry using its 2nm GAA technology, will be the driving force behind the majority of the Samsung Galaxy S26 models, including the Galaxy S26 Ultra in certain regions. Previously, Samsung Foundry encountered challenges with the yield of its 3nm production, resulting in a shortage of Exynos 2500 APs for the Galaxy S25 series. The standard Samsung Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra models are all equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor. This marks a shift from previous models, such as the Galaxy S24 series, which used both Snapdragon and Samsung's own Exynos chipsets, depending on the region.  While during Qualcomm's recent earnings call following the release of its fiscal Q4 earnings, the company said that it expected its new Snapdragon chip to be found in 75 percent of the Galaxy S26 handsets. Update build G920FXXU2POH8 & G925FXXU2POH8 5.1.1 for Galaxy S6 and S6Edge

An update to build  version G920FXXU2POH8  for Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F) and G925FXXU2POH8 for the Galaxy S6 edge (SM-G925F) is about to reach its destination to  Switzerland.  Both updates build are an unbranded version and still in Android 5.1.1 Lollipop base. While looking at the firmware build details itself, it seems that tweaks contained inside in it is something quite similar to the ones released in England and France recently that being dubbed with build G920FXXU2COH2 and build G925FXXU2COH2. The update might also have the icons being changed with a rounded corner design just like the ones found on Galaxy S6 edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5.

So anyway, if it happens that you're from Switzerland and owns the unlocked Galaxy S6 and or the Galaxy S6 edge (SM-G925F), much better check the update right now. Below are the technical details of each update.

Update using via Over The Air (OTA)


Here’s how to do it manually:
  • From your Galaxy S6 Home screen tap on Apps.
  • Select the Settings gear icon.
  • Tap About device.
  • Tap Software update.
  • Tap Check for an update.

It will then notify you that a new update is available for download. But it also says that “Your device software is up to date“, and there is no software update is yet available for grab. You can simply choose Download and Install now if you do so or else Install later if you want to get the update in later time.

Update via Computer using Smart Switch

You have to choose the one that is specifically built for computer, depends on what you have either a PC or Mac.  Once you installed Smart Switch, all you need is a connection between your Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G925F into the computer using the supplied USB data cable.

1. Run Smart Switch in your computer.

2. Connect the Galaxy S6 Edge  into the computer using the supplied USB data cable.

3. Smart Switch will automatically prompt you if the update is available. Just click on the “update” then the “OK”  button to begin updating your Galaxy S6 Edge.
