One UI 8 Android 16 for AT&T Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy Edge and Galaxy Ultra Released

The One UI 8 Android 16 software update for AT&T Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy  Edge, and Galaxy  Ultra has finally rolling out. The update came out early this morning, including Verizon, T-Mobile, and among other carriers in United States. Noting that this is the stable One UI 8 Android 16 that we have waiting for after beta released last month.  So if you owned the mentioned devices, you must check the update right now by hitting your Device Settings>About Phone>Software>Check for Updates . Vodafone's Galaxy S6 & S6 Edge Gets 5.1.1 Update Build to G920FXXU2QOH8 & G925FXXU2QOH8

Vodafone is now sending out another Android 5.1.1 update to its Galaxy S6 (SM-G920F) & S6 Edge (SM-G925F) devices across Europe.  The update came out as build G920FXXU2QOH8 for the Galaxy S6 while on the hand the Galaxy S6 Edge also received the build G925FXXU2QOH8.

Even though at the moment we do not know the possible effects of what's new on the update. But while taking a closer look the firmware build itself, both builds have a similarity to the also recently released build G920FXXU2COH2 and G925FXXU2COH2 on unlocked Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. Some noticeable features found in recent updates are the newly redesign icons  taken from the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+.  The look of the Apps icon is a rounded square, and some other new features like the Apps Edge and the Live broadcast via Youtube is also added in it.

Both updates are available via Over The Air (OTA) and via PC while using Smart Switch. The released is in stages and might take several days before the update arrives on some countries.

Update using via Over The Air (OTA)


Just ensure to recharge the battery for at least 50%. Also, backup your data using Smart Switch. Just in case somehow might go wrong during the updating process your files were already in a safe place.

Here’s how to do it manually: 
  • From the Home screen tap on Apps.
  • Select the Settings gear icon.
  • Tap About device.
  • Tap Software update.
  • Tap Check for an update.

It will then notify you that a new update is available for download. But it also says that “Your device software is up to date“, and there is no software update is yet available for grab. You can simply choose Download and Install now if you do so or else Install later if you want to get the update in later time.

Update via Computer using Smart Switch

You have to choose the one that is specifically built for computer, depends on what you have either a PC or Mac.  Once you installed Smart Switch, all you need to do is to connect your Samsung Galaxy S6  / S6 Edge on your  computer using the supplied USB  cable.

1. Run Smart Switch in your computer.

2. Connect the Galaxy S6 Edge  into the computer using the supplied USB data cable.

3. Smart Switch will automatically prompt you if the update is available. Just click on the “update” then the “OK”  button to begin updating your Galaxy S6 and or S6 Edge.

We've all been anticipating the release of the stable version of Samsung's One UI 8 beta program, which is based on Android 16.
