Apple's two failed iPhones in 2025

The interest in the iPhone 17 series is high, particularly for the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max models, which are outselling their predecessors. The iPhone Air has a different tale to tell; sales haven't been great, with reports showing low demand and major production cuts.  In contrast to the heavily publicized flop of the iPhone Air, there hasn't been much info on how the iPhone 16e is doing in sales. Early reports suggested it was doing pretty well, but it seems that wasn't up to Apple's standards.  Sales of the iPhone 16e and iPhone Air aren't meeting Apple's expectations, as per info from leaker Fixed Focus Digital (source in Chinese). While no exact figures were shared, the leaker suggests that Apple's effort to launch a popular, budget-friendly iPhone hasn't succeeded. Verizon Galaxy S5 Update G900VVRU2DPF4 Marshmallow Latest Security Patches

Verizon Galaxy S5 is getting another OTA update and bumped up the current Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS from build version G900VVRU2DPD1 to G900VVRU2DPF4.  This update is said to optimize device performance and applies the latest security patches to which points out for the month of June fixes.

Furthermore, the June security maintenance package contains 29 Google and 9 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposure patches.  Some of it were classified as "Critical" while the rest are just at "High" or in Medium" severity.  So this update plays very important part to keep your device safe out of the said security vulnerabilities.

How to Update Samsung Galaxy S5 G900V to Marshmallow via Over-The-Air (OTA)


This is usually how the carrier branded or locked Samsung Galaxy S5, performs a software update.  This method is Firmware Update through over the air or called as OTA update, which most often  a notification message will directly send out to you from your network provider and notifies you that there is a new update available for download.  If you did not receive any notification messages you can manually check for the update instead.  Doing so you may only navigate on your Galaxy S5 SM-G900V  Settings > System updates > Check for new system update.
  • Find “Software update”
  • Slide your finger down the display starting from the top edge of your mobile phone.
  • Tap the settings icon.
  • Tap System update.
  • Tap Check for new system update.

The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6.
