Some smartphones featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 have already been launched in China, with many expecting a global release shortly after. A growing list of flagship smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which was officially announced in late September 2025. The chipset is anticipated to power top-tier Android devices throughout late 2025 and 2026, with several phones already confirmed or heavily rumored. For those who own a Galaxy S6 SM-G920I and the S6 edge SM-G925I variants, you folks must watch out for the Android 7.0 Nougat updates. Samsung has started the rolling out of the said Android 7.0 Nougat and its now seen heading it ways in India.

We have just spotted the Android 7.0 Nougat labeled as build version G920IDVU3FQD1 and G925IDVU3FQD1 will be hitting the factory unlocked version of the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge in India.  While the rest of all regions also posses the same variant, including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the Latin America region might also follow very soon.

The paint chipping issue reported by some Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 users appears to be a recurring problem that was also seen with the Z Fold 6. Despite users claiming they have not dropped their devices, paint delamination is occurring on the anodized aluminum body.
