U.S Carrier Locked Smartphone Unlocking Become illegal

United States users of a carrier locked smartphones bought from a certain network operator and used to unlocked it to use in other carrier will become illegal. What? NO! Heck this is true, according to  +Eric Ravenscraft at +Android Police headlines. For a bit of context, first, let's take a look at exactly what has changed. This is not new, sweeping legislation. What happens is that every three years, the Librarian of Congress issues a set of exemptions to the DMCA. This is to help account for changes in technology so the law doesn't stay woefully behind the times (though entire articles could be written about that itself). In 2006 and in 2010 (the last round of exemptions took a while to process), the Library specifically allowed unlocking phones in order to use handsets on other providers. Singapore's Samsung Galaxy S3 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update Delayed

If it happens that you are from Singapore and owns the Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300, well, the expected Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean will take a little bit more delayed at this point. Today, Samsung Singapore officially announced that the 4.1.2 software update "XXELLC" will not be push in Singapore market. Some users already received the said update earlier but Singapore's Samsung support team pulled it back for some reasons. The 2011 U.S T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II slate "Hercules" SGH-T989 now receives another software update early this year. Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 Gets First Official Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Upgrade in Spain 'I9100XXLS8'

Users of the Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100 the most popular slate in 2011 is now getting its official Android 4.1.2 Jelly bean upgrade.  Samsung has just started rolling the Jelly bean update and right now hitting in Spain. How to Save Root and Update Verizon Galaxy Note 2 to I605VRALL4 Jelly Bean

Samsung and Verizon just released another Android 4.1.1 Jelly bean update for Galaxy Note SCH-I605 with baseband build I605VRALL4, this update has reported to fix the known "Exynos Exploit" affected devices.
